Balwoo Gongyang
Balwoo Gongyang specializes in temple dishes, run by the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. Chef Kim Ji-yeong presents dishes of organic vegetables marinated in traditional soy sauce with minimal seasoning that are easy on your digestive system. The menu is based around the appetizing traditional way of eating known as “Suljuksim” (meaning having a soup or stew to accompany dry foods) and the taste of natureis infused in each course, from porridge and seasonal dishes, to traditional temple foods, and ‘Ipgasim,‘ palate-cleansing desserts.
